Adhesion Pain

I apologize if this is the wrong thread for this but I am having a lot of pain & my dr. wants to avoid surgery at all cost. I am so miserable. Not that I really want surgery.. I am just sick of pain.

Almost four years ago, I had an ablation and lap surgery to look into the severe pain I was having. I had a lot of scar tissue which was removed as much as possible and the dr. noticed my uterus was a bit adhered to my abdominal wall. He separated it as much as possible.

I have also had two c-sections (10 & 8 years ago) and I am having the WORST god awful pain 2x a month the last few months. One has to be during my period (even though i don't bleed bc of my ablation) and the other is 2 weeks later (ovulation.)

I have serious tugging around my belly button & a hard belly.

I am spending most of my day with 2 heating pads wrapped around me.

Has anyone had a similar story and what was your diagnosis & have you found help?

Re: Adhesion Pain

I have had adhesions because of endometriosis and surgeries. Most of my adhesions had to be treated surgically, however, the issues I had with some scars were treated with some deep tissue massage with a physical therapist.

If you are wanting to avoid surgery, I would suggest finding a physical therapist to see if deep tissue massage might be helpful for you.
