Grocery list before TAH, easy food to digest?

I'm trying my best to plan everything out as much as possible before I go in for my upcoming TAH. I have been reading alot about everyone saying there will be lots of gas pains, so I am planning on getting some gas-x. However, do any of you ladies have any suggestions on some foods i should have in the house that will help easing digestion and not creating more gas? I'm lucky enough to have my mom there that will help with everything around here while I recover, but I was wondering if there were any specifics that could help. Thanks!!

Yep, the gas pains were pretty rough for me a couple days afterwards. Gas-X helped. I took a stool softener, but it gave me indigestion. Constipation was an issue for me. I ate Activia, bran cereal (without the milk), and drank apple juice. Those things and moving around helped me. Best of luck to you!
