I did it...and it's not too bad!

Hi Ladies,
I went to my first post-op dr. visit today, and the dr. says I'm doing well. So what I actually had done was she removed my uterus, my right fallopian tube (because it was too covered in endo to be saved), and she drained a golf ball sized cyst on my ovary. This was done lapricscopicaly (sp?). I left the hospital within two hours after waking up. And today I am functioning as well as I was two weeks before surgery. I was in a lot of pain before surgery so I couldn't work very well. I am a little sore, and I tire easily, but that is all. I expect to be feeling 100% in no time. I am so grateful I made the decision to do this! And so thankful I had the support of you ladies leading up to the surgery...I really needed you gals at times. The waiting was the hard part for me. I know not everyone gets to have the "easy" surgery like I got, but I hope everyone's recovery goes as smoothly as mine is thus far! Take care and think about how much better you'll feel when this is all done!
