Martial Arts afterwards?

Hi! Aikidoka here!

My doc said I could start back with training after six weeks. But we've got an AMAZING seminar coming up with my sensei's sensei's sensei Kevin Blok Shihan [does that make him my great-grand sensei? ]. I'll be 10 days post-op by then--arrrrggghh!

Hostess Surferbabe, who coaches a competitive karate team, told me I might feel up to sitting and watching the seminar. She charged me solemnly to go home *before* I felt tired and to do only half of what I felt like I could do. I'm a good girl, so I'll do exactly what she says.

If it means I get to see such a man give a demonstration, I'll be the best little patient anyone's ever seen!

Martial Arts afterwards?

(I hope I don't sound like I'm talking to myself)

I *cannot* begin to tell you how aikido has completely changed my life. I was hoping beyond hope that it would cure my uterine woes too, but it didn't. Cured many other things like my arthritic back and my sagging self-confidence, but it didn't cure my uterine woes.

I love aikido, all three of us (both DD's and me) study aikido, and I'll be an aikidoka forever.
