Just had UFE on Oct 2nd

I just had the UFE this past Tuesday. The first days are tough with a lot of cramps and pain but I’m noticing things getting better today, on Saturday. The constipation was rough during these first days too. I feel relieved to have done something against the fibroids causing me so much discomfort- 8.4 cm and a penduculated of 2 cm. I hope it works in shrinking them!

Update at 4 weeks post - I felt better a week after the UFE, no more cramps but still fatigued. Two weeks after I felt much better. Now I’m getting my first period afterwards and the period cramps seem better. I never had too much trouble with the bleeding part. I still don’t know if the fibroid has shrunk but I think my abdomen is less bulky and I am having less urgency to urinate.

Congratulations! It should get better and better. I measured my abdomen in the beginning with a measuring tape to determine any shrinking.
I was embolized 7 years ag and my tumor has shrank over 90%.
