Another 3 monther down!!!

Hi, all! And Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

I did a great scootch (maybe even perfect) and had a good 3 month exam. Doctor took a vault smear (I think that's what the PAP is called after given up the cervix?). I also had a chest x-ray done. Don't know the results but I expect no problems. I will return again in 3 months. Thanks for being here!!

You go, girl!

It is a relief when each one of these hurdles passes by.

I like the idea of scootching as a competitive event--with judges holding up the score cards and ordinals--and you with a perfect 10! I think it would be judged like ski jumping--on distance and style.

s Margie

Congrats on your great checkup!!!! Now you can have a happy heart all through the holidays.
A stranger reading some of the CC posts may think we are all training for the Summer 2003 Olympics. I believe the time has come for the scootch event!

Congratulations, Margie!

So glad to hear the appointment went well. And a perfect 10? That's amazing! I always mess up something. Usually I tear the paper gown I'm wearing, but I can generally leave the paper sheet intact. And then I'm always a couple of inches short on the distance--well, better than a couple of inches too long !!

Let us know how your results turn out!

Thanks!!!!

Thanks for all of our posts. I tell everyone what a great place this is for support!!!!! And everyone is so postive!! And The Scootch adds laughter when faced with an unpleasant situation!!

Speaking of "The Scootch"....I think it's time some rules where layed down here (no pun intended). It sounds like there are variety of materials used for this event.....paper gowns, cloth gowns, paper sheets for the legs, paper table covers AND, I think a new one is here.....the "chux". I didn't notice the last time I was in for an exam but this time I found a chux at the end of the table!!! I asked the nurse about it as I very much into thinking about "The Scootch". She said it was there in case of an accident (oh dear!). Actually the chux made The Scootch a lot easier and didn't know if this was cheating!!!!!

This icon is too much!!!! Now if the techs could get her to go from sit to supine and then scootch, we'd have a winner!!!!
