forgot bout the lupus...

I forgot that I have Lupus (mostly just my skin is involved, weird rashes and such) ... anyone with chronic illness like this or diabetes (yep, got that too) have this surgery?

I am going in tomorrow for my 7 week check-op post op, from a TVH.

I have had HSP (Henoch-Schonlien Purpura)for 9 years, and have been told that I have the Lupus gene. Because of that gene I suffer from blood clots. While in the hospital I was then told that I have Factor S, having done research on that yet. So as you see I have a few things wrong with me and I came through the surgery fine.

I have lupus, but it is in remission and I'm currently off of all meds... My diabetes is likewise under control -- off all meds... I figure that my best chance will be from being as healthy as possible when I go under the knife...
