Re: Feeling Overwhelmed

My doctor said we will talk about it right after the surgery but mentioned putting me on estrogen. I asked her how quick the menopause symptoms start and she said pretty much as soon as you wake up. Maybe we will both be lucky and skip that part ! LOL

Re: Feeling Overwhelmed

Hi mindy525 - it sounds like you have yourself organised. I also like to be in control of what's going on - some would call me a control freak lol. Don't hesitate to ask your doctors as many questions as you can think of.

Hi lorilwayne - you're right. Trying to have a positive attitude going into surgery does help.

Jackie2 - I'm 3wks today and I so agree with you. Oh, and I LOOOOOOVE my recliner

Good luck everyone

Re: Feeling Overwhelmed

Should I plan on staying downstairs then and sleeping in the chair? Usually I can't sleep sitting up but I am worried about going up and down the stairs.

Everyone is different. I liked chair day bed night. You will know. Try to relax and not worry. I didn't have time to worry and sometimes that can be s blessing too
