Cancer Found During Hyst

I too had a hyster and was surprised when the results came back cancer. I was curious if they staged the cancer for you. After I got my diagnosis, I went to a gyn oncologist who told me that I needed further surgery. I then went for 3 other opinions who all told me that I did not need any further treatment. The gyn oncologists are the way to go. I would always get a second opinion as well.

Yes they did stage the cancer for me and told me that it was stage 3 but that i was in the best possible senerio because it was basically self contained. However, my oncologist gyno said that stages do not really matter and that i should not focus on that. So i am not!!
