Finally told yes for hysterectomy.
The doctor finally has told me he will do the hysterectomy. We have exhausted all our options. I am 32 and I have had issues since I was 9 and for the past 4 years it has gotten worse. I dealt with bad cramps constant flooding four years ago, tried ablation it lasted 3 years though the cramps came back half way through the 3 years did and I did two rounds of lupron. Then last year in January I started bleeding and I have never stopped. I did 2 more rounds of lupron and had a Merina inserted, but no relief. I had some relief from Estradiol 2 mgs but that is not a long term safe fix. So after dealing with several cysts rupturing over the past couple of weeks and dealing daily cramping I went and had an ultrasound. My doctor looked at me and said if I am ready he will do the hysterectomy. I will have to have it done through the abdomen, he will leave my cervix and left ovary if there is nothing wrong with it. He will take my right because it is the one giving me the most issues with pain. I am ready. I wanted a hysterectomy honestly before I did the ablation so it is a answered prayer for me. I will definitely be asking questions over the next several weeks as I prepare for surgery hopefully some time Mid-February. I really appreciate this site.
