The mysterious moving patch!

Hi all - it's been a long time since I've posted. I've been doing great - coming up on my two year Hysterversary!

Stupid question: I realized this morning when I went to change my patch that I must have been half asleep on Monday when I changed it that day. I apparently didn't switch sides and put it on the same side as the last one I put on. (That or the patch mysteriously jumped sides this week!)

I'm assuming the reason we are to switch sides is to insure an even spread of the HRT - and I've felt fine this week so I don't think this will alter the course of my life or anything! But, just wondered if anyone else has done this and if there are any problems I should look out for.

Thanks all!

The mysterious moving patch!

Hi!
I did that once also, I think we are supposed to switch sides, or just areas really to prevent skin irratation from using the same spot over and over. I am on the Vivelle Dot and anywhere below my belly button on my lower abdomen works just fine for me, I usually put it in just 3 places, directly under my belly button and 2 inches to either side. I start on the left and just work my way across over and over.....lol It's easy to see there and I can easily find and remove the adhesive gunk left behind after changing dots!

Mary Sue,
As Kayla stated, I think the reason to move the location is so you don't get a build up of adhesive on the patch placement site. If you haven't noticed anything I would assume that everything is a-okay.
