Any enema tips? I have never done one and am horrified

Surgery Type: TVH

Ovaries: Removed both

I would do it about 4 hours before bedtime just to be safe. It didn't take that long for me, probably closer to 2 hours... but I noticed I had to go again in the morning just before leaving for the hospital and then a tiny bit after I got there.

PS If they shave you, chances are they will do it while you are asleep so you will be blissfully unaware of it. Do not shave yourself hoping to prevent them from having to do it... surgeries have been canceled for that because they worry about the risk of infection when you are shaved under non-sterile conditions (eg at home).
