Can Estrogen cause stomach pain?????

I have tried Vivelle Dot .5 right after surgery almost 9 mos ago. Had major stomach pain for the whole month on that dose. Went down to .025. Same stomach pain but not as severe. Tried Evamist one spray. Started to get some stomach pain on day 2 and got scared so I quit. Haven’t had any HRT for at least 6 months. Hot flashes are so bad I am trying Evamist again. However I manipulated the top so I am getting half of one spray to start and working my way up. I am ridiculously sensitive. I am on day 5. It seems like about 4 hours after I apply my dose my stomach gets crazy gas pains. It usually only lasts for a few hours. Do you think it’s the Estrogen? If it is, could it subside once my body adjusts? I get discouraged because I know my body needs it but I cannot tolerate much.

I hope someone will reply who can relate. I've never had stomach pain from using any type of estrogen that I've used, whether oral, compounded creams or by estradiol patch delivery which I've used for most of my post-hysterectomy life.

Now and then I get a old fashioned stomach ache , i think it's caused by fluctuations . It's not gas or anything related to digestion, it's just a dull ache
