period and surgery... I know it has been asked before

This period came early so instead it it being my last, I will be on schedule to have it during my surgery.

I am pretty sure that other posts have said that this will not be a factor to reschedule, but want to verify it... I am having the DaVinci.

I thought I would ask here instead of calling the dr office... you all get back to me quicker than leaving a message. LOL

If periods stopped hysterectomies, they wouldn't be able to do 600,000 of them a year. No, being on your period will not stop your surgery. I will be in the middle of my last 1 next Monday when I go in, Dr says...No Problem

That means you get the last laugh at your uerus, not the other way around.

That was what I thought too but needed reassurance...I have been a wreck waiting and getting parnanoid that something will happen to postpone it longer (fingers crossed)

I was hoping that this period would of came later this week so I didn't have to go through another but you are right..

My emotions are all over the place as well and now I'm getting a little scared Doc may have to postpone if I come down with this cold that my co-workers and kiddos seem to have. I really hope not, will probably call her tomorrow to see what she thinks.
