Surgery in the a.m. So nervous I'm sick

Surgery is in the morning. I have to be at the hospital to check in at 5:30 a.m and surgery will be around 7:20 a.m. I'm so nervous. On top of that I had RF ablation of spinal facet nerves on Friday, and am swollen and sore from that. I've wound myself up into such a state that I'm nauseous. Right now I'm working on little treat bags to hand out to nurses, etc. who help, visit me. Everyone like's to be thanked, right? It can't hurt... and it calms me down a little...

Re: Surgery in the a.m. So nervous I'm sick

Hey good luck with your surgery tomorrow just take a deep breath and relax it will be ok but its is also ok to.be scared its major surgery. i had my tah on sept 25 seem to be healing up nicely been taking it very very easy and just remember u need lots of rest. the only issue thats bugging me is the suegical menopause as i had both overies removed as well do to cancer issues. menopause at any age sounds horrible never thought i.would be dealing with it at 30. but well life must go on as hard as it may see right after surgery but the pain doesnt last.forever. i remember when i first woke up thinking i was never gonna get out of bed the pain was so bad. but it does get better nd the pain is less and less. we are strong may God bless u and be with u an your doctor and his staff in the or. you will be in my prayers.
