Back to work - Wardrobe?

I don't have any bigger clothes on hand and I don't have any funds to purchase any either. I think I'll start with the skirt/panty-hose though because that sounds like a fine idea...I guess I'll manage with the belly being irritated more in the afternoon..

I started back at the gym today and feel GREAT about that...it really perked me up.

I agree with the lady who wrote that pantyhose actually feel good. I have worn control top pantyhose to church and feel really good in them. I don't swell as much as the day wears on either. For work, I do the same thing or wear knee highs and pants. My swelling occurs in the evening and I have not had to change the size of any of my clothing.

Loop the elastic through the button hold, then around the button. This will add a couple of inches of waist room, plus some stretchiness to the waist line of your jeans, pants and skirt. Then zip it up as far as you can, but be sure to wear a top, cardigan you can button, or something that will cover everything if you need to unzip all the way! Fortunately, the "baby doll" tops that are fashionable right now are perfect for this!
Back to work today and I've got a pair of pants on that I couldn't wear last week. This morning I could do them up (barely), but brought an elastic along with me (one from the post office so it's heavier-duty) just in case. What do you know, after eating lunch it was quite uncomfortable being in these pants, so off I went to the bathroom with my elastic and WOW do I feel better now!!

Thanks again, tahireh!!!!

Back to work - Wardrobe?

Before my surgery a good friend told me to get a pair or two of "Modern Soul elastic waist pants from QVC". Best advise I ever got! These are not your grandma's elastic pants! I ordered two pair-one black and one brown. I got the wide leg so they look modern. I wear them with all of my favorite shirts and jackets. I feel like I'm wearing PJ bottoms all day yet I look very stylish. FYI I found they ran a little big.
