The Stand & Under the Dome by Steven King would both be great reads for the recovery time when you can't do much at all.

Anything by Janet Evanovich! They are ALL lighthearted and extremely entertaining!

I have what we fans of author Diana Gabaldon call an "Outlander Addiction."

The "Outlander" series began in 1991 and there are 8 books in the original series with 2 more coming! There is also a spin off series on a side character, and some short novellas.

They have brought out a passion in my life I never new existed. The characters are a part of my life.

And the fact that the network STARZ picked up the series this year has been an absolute miracle because my husband watches it with me!!

Love Outlander and author Diana Gabaldon!!

PS If you pick up Outlander, you'll never hear the names Jaime and Claire again without sighing, I promise.

Oldies but goodies, "Gone with the wind", and "Scarlett", which is its sequel. Not necessary to put me in the drawing, just wanted to get my choices out there!! Both are so much better than the movie!

Gone Girl and The Hiding Place. Also I enjoyed The Maze Runner Trilogy. Best reads for recovery because the sory lines are fast paced and the books are awesome!

Gone with the Wind

Little Women is always a great fall back. There is also one that I revisit every now and then called Scarlett Feather by Maeve Binchy (she's phenomenal) and anything by Nora Roberts or Sandra Brown!!!
