Re: Small changes for hopefully big results!

ladies,

Abc your yoga ideas sound great. I also stage my Vit and Min where I can’t miss them. It is so easy to forget Anne so don’t feel bad. The private class is a great idea. You will learn so much and really understand what you need to do. My DH and I started yoga this way with a semiprivate for 3years. I still hear her direction or feel her light touch to correct my poses.

Hugs,
Anndy

Re: Small changes for hopefully big results!

Good idea re the vitamins. I've managed to take them today

I've checked out that website abc and it looks great. I like how I can start with beginners and move up too.

My yoga teacher has been in touch with some great advice too and I have found out about private lessons. They are an OK price, so I will get organised with some of those in the next few weeks.

Will update in a few days about how the vits are going.

If either of you have any posts you'd like support or cheering on please let me know. I'd love to help. Or feel free to add in something you want to work on here!

Re: Small changes for hopefully big results!

Hi Anne,

I am starting a new thread this week and the Best Wishes is always a good place to give some support. I have a sister with surgery tomorrow who is alone so if you find her on Best Wishes for May 16 she could use some support. If you check out that thread you will find her.

Hugs and Thanks,
Anndy

Things like - take vitamins, drink water, walk a certain distance each day, do yoga x times per week, eat low carb for a month etc. I think if I focus on one thing at a time it will become ‘normal’ and as I go I’ll add more and more good habits.

Is anyone keen to do this with me? Our changes don’t need to be the same, although they could be. It’s more to encourage and cheer each other on.
Hi AnneNZ
I am 2 weeks post op today and would love to join you! I started vitamins when I got home from the hospital and as well as drinking more water. I'm not active in the sense of doing yoga but I am walking around the yard and small distances. Right now I am trying to wear my binder more faithfully.
I am open to other ideas within my limits as well as cheering others on. It helps to have a support system esp with those recovering from similar / same operations.
