Any one here from Georgia?

Hello you two! I hope your recovery is doing great and you are staying cool. I live in Spalding County, south of Atlanta. I will have my surgery TAH?BSO July 26th. Be here before I know it!

I remember thinking how I wanted it hurry up and get here. Yes, I was excited to have my hysterectomy! I just wanted the pain to end! Good luck to you! I actually did not find this site until a couple of days before surgery, so you have time to check out all the information. I am really so thankful for this site!

I'm originally from Texas, but have been at Ft. Gordon (Augusta), Georgia now for four years. My husband is a soldier assigned here.

Hi y'all. This is my first post to this site, I've been lurking for a few months. I'm in Atlanta. (Woodstock, actually.) I had my surgery on Jun 10th, so I'm 4 weeks post-op. (Much to my dh's dismay, we are still inside the 6 week mark!) As far as I know I'm all healed up. I'm just waiting on the doctor to agree. We are moving in the next few weeks, and it's really hard not to be able to lift anything!

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi Megg,
I had a vaginal hysterectomy and the recovery was incredibly quick. I had to keep reminding myself to take it easy because I did feel so good afterward.

I'm from Ringgold, GA. I'm 11 days after DaVinci surgery! Had good results! Recovery time is fast! Was walking after about 4 hours after surgery! Good luck with your surgery!

I am orginally from Knoxville, Tn. currently living in Stone Mountain,Ga. I had a Total Hysterectomy and Bladder Sling 6/7/10.

I'm in GA...Cobb County and see someone here must be my neighbor in Paulding..... I'm almost 3 weeks post op and feel I am doing pretty well. Love this site and connecting with folks who have been or are going down the same road .

You are just down the road from me! I live in Hiram. Wait until you hit 4 weeks! That is when I really started feeling good! I am at 6 weeks post op TAH.
