TAH: Nov. 17th is getting closer & I'm scared

Can I just tell you how much I hate gas pains and not being able to go to the bathroom??!! I am in misery. I have been walking, drinking water, taking my gas x and colace, milk of magnesia, etc. But to no avail. I'm angry with my husband, because he can get up and viola - no problem. But not me. My bowels seem to be on strike. Plus, I have pain where I don't have any staples. Its from the side where they removed the endo from being attached to my organs. It is terrible. God, give me strength to get through this.

I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain/discomfort! I struggle with constipation and gas...and I haven't even had the surgery yet!!! I know that if I skip a day of taking my acacia fiber (just 1/2 a tsp. 3 times a day) I simply won't go. However, I don't know what will happen after my surgery.
