I helped make dinner tonight. I didn't do to much just the veggies, but it is more than I've done lately. I started to clean the kitchen and my DH yelled at me because I started to grab things that involved bending, ouch. So then he said to stop because I was creating more work for him, he would have to stop what he was doing to come and finish what I was trying to do. Now I'm cramping and I didn't do anything just tried to get a pan. I can't wait until I can bend like a normal person again! I can't wait to not have to depend on other people and to be able to do things for myself! It is hard to ask others for help.

I have been bending since shortly after surgery but only cramped up after I painted my toenails! Should have let DB do that.

We have been watching Discovery Channel, all Egypt tonight. I love history.

Tomorrow I need to get out and run a couple of errands, BUT I have decided to see how I feel and that will determine each day's activities.
The world won't end if I take weeks to get stuff done. In fact, can you all believe it has been almost a month since our surgery? Holy cow.

Wow a month. I'm glad I feel the way I do now vs the way I felt a month ago! Good plan take it one day at a time. I think I'll do that too.

Yeah....me, too.....I haven't gotten my disability yet either. But I did get a small paycheck last Friday. I had to use up all of my vacation time before I could get my disability so it was a paycheck worth about four days. :-(
Enough to get a pedicure and buy a few groceries.

Tomorrow will be a month and I go back to the doc for followup. Not looking forward to it if he plans on full exam which I am sure it will be. My DH has been great and stops me from doing much. Have not been sleeping well so he lets me sleep when I can and will not wake me. So he sits as still as he can and will not even turn on the tv. (we live in a motorhome so it is not like being in a house with different rooms).
I seem to be doing great overall, still have alot of pain on my right side and trouble sleeping. Colder during the day than I used to be and about the same as far a being hot at night as before. Thank goodness I have actually lost weight and hope that continues.
Please remember that your body as been through alot and it takes time. I over did it a couple of times because I felt great and paid for it later. Take it easy and if you are getting that special care from loved ones enjoy it tot he fullest.
Best recovery to all!
