Transvag Ultrasound tomorrow yuk

Hi Ladies, had a hyst in 2004 kept ovaries. Seven weeks later had an ovarian cyst on my right ovary. Of course they were both fine when they were smiling at the surgeon. So now due to pain I have to have an ultrasound every six or eight months. How can two small organs like ovaries cyst or not be so painful when they are going through their cycle. They feel like two small snapping terriers on leashes trying to get to one another. I get heart burn upset stomach, bowel problems back ach for about a month or so then nothing, everything is fine for about three or four months. Does anyone else wish they had yanked them out when they had the chance.

Could use your opinions.

I've had issues with my ovaries and my cervix since my SAH four years ago. Seems like I get painful cysts pretty darn frequently and I don't recall that happening before, plus I've had bouts of cervical bleeding that aren't related to the mini periods that I've always had. I had cryotherapy on the cervix six weeks ago, and so far so good - no bleeding at all. Maybe cryo has finally resolved the bleeding - I sure hope so.

As far as the cysts, I have wondered if just maybe I felt so lousy before my hyst that I didn't notice the ovaries being cranky. Now that I'm not having severe cramping and passing huge clots for a couple of weeks out of every month, maybe I notice the ovaries. I would guess that I was having cysts before, but the other pain over shadowed whatever the ovaries might have been doing. I've also wondered if my ovaries are acting up because maybe at 44 they are in decline.

I had another ultrasound yesterday because at my annual (and post cryo check) my left ovary was pretty uncomfortable when pressed on. Sure enough, there's a pretty little black circle on the screen again. Lucky me, hopefully it will resolve on its own soon. But since the hyst I have taken the pill to resolve a few, and in April I had one "popped" during a scope procedure.
