Boredom buster ideas? Tired of sitting around after hysterectomy

I am not used to sitting around all day. I'm tired of watching tv. Tired of reading, and there's only so much Candy Crush a person can play lol. I've caught up on my work from the office fairly quickly, and am out if ideas. Any suggestions?

Re: Boredom buster ideas?

I was going to put a puzzle together but never got it out. Maybe some type of arts and crafts.

Re: Boredom buster ideas?

Now would be a good time to learn a new craft if that appeals to you. There's loads of different ones.I make cards for a baby hospice near where I live and sell them at the fairs they have there twice a year. You don't have to be very knowledgeable now because you can buy the kits with instructions so they always look ok.The end results could be donated to a charity of your choice or you could sell them and make a donation. These kits can be bought over the web.x

Re: Boredom buster ideas?

This makes me want to tell my husband to take me to hobby lobby.
I was just wondering what I was going to do this week at home, hehe!

Re: Boredom buster ideas? Tired of sitting around after hysterectomy

Between my fibroid diagnosis last year and some other challenges, I typed a story on my laptop regarding my experiences in relation to counting my blessings and it took up a good chunk of time, which was nice. I am emailing this story to some of my loved ones....this will benefit them and me, as I will remember to be grateful for all of my blessings, especially if I complain about some mundane task that needs to be completed.
Also, my co workers, hubby and daughter all gave me beautiful bouquets of flowers, which I am drying right now....I am making small potpourri jars for everyone who sent cards, called or reached out to me in any way.
I am picking up the essential oils and jars sometime this week & hope to complete my project before I return to work next week.
