Post Op complications

I had my tah/bso Sept. 30. 2002. I recieved a blister above my bikin lineincision site from surgery. Oct. 16th I was admitted for severe upper right quadrant pain and elevated liver enzymes.
Had an ERCP and they still don't know what or why I had such pain. Went to wound care clinic because the blister wasn't healing. Treated for MRSA with Vanco through picc line. All my lymph nodes in my neck swelled up and ran 102.7 temp with no signs of any upper respitory infection. Sick as a Had a surgerical debreedment in Nov for blister. Put on Bactrim for Proteus infection. Had another surgery for excision of the wound.
Now there is enterococcus infection. Today I was put on Ampicillin for that along with continuing the Bactrim. I think my job is replacing me after 4 months. Which I can't blame them. I have hot flashes that keep me up at night, but yet I can't nap during the day. I get probably 4 hrs of sleep. I guess better than no sleep at all. My gyno wanted me to do this hot flash study. I said no way! He wanted me to go off my estradiol for 8 weeks. Yeah right! Think I am a basket case now? 8 weeks I will be banging a tin cup on some bars.
I am only writing this to vent, and hopefully maybe some of you out there has had similar problem and can help. Tired of surgeries. Have to get back to work. Dissability only pays so much. Tired of feeling like I am going to explode in a tunnel far away and no one can hear me screaming.

Thanks

Sheri,
Thanks so much. It is nice to know that there are others out there who care. I have to thank God for what I have and all that he has done for me. I must stop wallowing in the estrogen blues and stick my chest out and go on. Sometimes you just need someone to give you that kick in the pants. Thanks for the kick.
LOL

You are an !
