orgasm after hysterectomy

A friend of mine had hysterectomy and she said that the best thing was orgasms are better and multiple. Has anyone found this to be true for them? just curious..

For me, it is true!!! Before my hyster, sex was very painful, so orgasms were very far and between. After the proper healing time and learning my body again, I can have multi and way more intense orgasms.

OMG how true that is for me also. At first my poor lonely ovary was in shock (not used to being alone) I guess. But for the last few weeks my lobido picked up and the "O" is so much better. Its nice when more than one can be acheived compared to few and far in between. The intensity is so much stronger also. Its like WHAM I am so glad. For awhile I was scared I would never want sex again.

Oh yes! Things are much better! We've only had the ok for a week so its still pretty new, but I have found that orgasm is longer, more intense, and positions that used to be painful no longer are

This is wonderful news! I'm only less than 1 week post op so no where near the "OK to go for it" mark. Funny thing tho', I was sitting and relaxing yesterday, and not having any thoughts at all about you know what when all of a sudden I got this very ***** feeling down low...OMG! Everything is waking up! 6 weeks will be such a looooong time to wait!

Hi VGTrigger... I have not yet had my surgery, but just want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for asking that question. I have been and still am soooo nervous about the affect the surgery will have on orgasms. That's one of the few reasons I keep the dh around... haha... (just kidding)!!!

I'm also very glad to hear this. It has been so long since I had pleasureable sex due to pain that this is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hey ladies, I just had lunch with my dh and told him about what a few of you said I could possibly look forward to... he was so excited he almost ran off the road.

Thanks guy's this has also scared me I am very multiple now and the thought of not being the same after the operation scares me...

My husband asked me the other day if I was trying to kill him (LOL)because I told him we had to make love everyday until thursday, well just to let you guy's know this was last week monday and i have been very happy ever since

I told him it's gonna be weeks before we can be together so I want to make sure I give him enough to hold him over (LOL) he said I was a nutt but hasn't turned me down yet... This is what I like to hear I was getting a little upset at all the negative stories but I am glad to read this one...

I am so glad someone brought this up. I have a month to go until surgery and my husband and I have quite a healthy sexual appetite. I find that sex can be quite uncomfortable sometimes though. Almost as though I am so sensitive to touch that it hurts. I was really scared from some of the stories I had heard about labidos dropping off almost all together and so on that this makes me feel so much better. Wait till my hubby gets home and hears this wonderful news! YIPPEE!!!
