Home! - Did anyone else cry?

Well can hardly believe that I'm back home with an extra smile!- (brilliant incision with not a stitch or clip in sight) What a lot seems to have happened in the last few days- surgery 12th- and I have amazed myself with the way I have managed to cope with the challenges each new day brought.
I couldn't stop myself bursting into tears whenver i got my coat off and I've absolutely no idea why I did it- a mixture of emotions , I suppose.
Thanks for the support ,girls. Keep it up

Welcome Home It is very normal to be emotional, you have been through a lot. Be patient with yourself, get plenty of rest, drink, take little walks and NO LIFTING. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi Raving!

Crying is a way of coping too. At least you waited til you got home I bawled like a baby all day, the day after surgery. Those poor nurses, just didn't know what to do! But, (deep breath), I am all better now and I hope you are too!

Crying is a GREAT release of all the tension and fear and anxiety that you've endured during your wait, at the hospital, and after your surgery.

It's healthy, it's free and it feels good....go for it!!!

Be a very good princess and take it slow and easy...drink lots of water and juice, and get pampered. Don't worry about crying...princesses can do anything they want!!

s to you!

Karen
