Maybe this is for a good thing?? This will give you time to get things done around the house. Even call family for help if you have children to worry about. The wait is what seems to get all of us. There is a great thread that give great answers to questions that you may have not thought of asking. It is :Survey for sister over 40
Well, I just wanted to bring a comforting thought to you.
So how long have you been with hystersisters?

I feel SO sorry for you. I'd be pulling my hair out. Plus, my "shopping for surgery" would be WAY out of control by then

I'm going crazy!
Thanks for the support ladies, but I truly feel like a basket case tonight! :hair: I cancelled my Oct.5th surgery while my gyno was on vacation(she was returning on my surgery date) & insisted she refer me to a gyno oncologist(like everyone insisted)which she didn't from the start & wasted my time! While she was away I went to the office, got copies of all my records from the secretary & tried to find a gyno oncologist on my own with no luck of course...they all wanted a referall & my doc was away! I thought I "got "lucky" at one point when I made an appointment with a doctor "I thought" was a gyno oncologist...but he wasn't! So...I waited for my gyno to return & when I saw her I expalined that I cancelled surgery because I panicked & wanted a second opinion from a gyno oncologist. She finally agreed to give me the referall..this was on Oct.5th & the secretary only called me Monday to give me an appointment for "Oct. 31", which was now postponed today untill "Nov.14" because of some conference!! I am really freaking out because I don't know when I'll finally have my surgery done & I'm scared my cancer is spreading each day I wait!

I am so sorry to hear of cancelled surgeries - coz, I really do not know, when I will be able, to have mine. if mine was a cancer issue ((Mori)) then I would expect it, to be done yesterday. I am sure, the Gynae Onc. would do surgery, if they felt leaving this any longer, would have the cancer spread? Have you talked with them, about this? My surgery had to be put off until my immune can be lifted....I cannot understand a Gynae cancelling, where there is cancer? Thinking of you & all the other Systers who are having to wait.
