I have not written in a while. My husband and I tried to have sex but he would not go in. I guess it is too small now since the repair. I am waiting on a call from my doctor.

Hello Girlies! Its been a couple weeks since I was last here, and seems we're still healing. I have now 2 jobs. One4 days a week in an office, and the other is now 3 days and standing behind a counter( the same job I've had for 3 years). But I am still having some pain where she did a knot allong the incision. At times when I go to stand from sitting, it feels like my pee hole is being ripped up through the tummy and out the bellybutton. Really not very nice feeling. But its not all the timee either.
I also took myself off the BCP, and went to the health food/vitiamin store and spent $90. on vitiamins. What a difference. I am happier, the weight is coming off, my skin is looking better and I am not angry!! The only down side is my big full boobs are deflating! The pill was awesome and saved me $8000. on a boob job. But I will not go back on them just for the boobs!!
I am still having issues about not being able to have babies anymore. I never quite dealt with it beofre the surgury. Everyone keeps saying well there are other ways of getting one. But it is not the same. It is getting better, especially when I see people with 3 or more kids and they are constantly looking around for them making sure they are all together. Or the kids are fighting, screaming, running and chasing eachother. So ya 1 is good!
Oh and we are looking to buy a new house. We haven;t put ours officailly up for sale, but our friend is a realator and he knows we're looking, so that has added to the stress. But working is keeping my mind off the whole baby thing.
anyways I better run and get ready for work , and get the girl up for school. Have a wonderful day!!

Well I'm on vacation and I decided to call my Dr of an appt when I return next week. Of course he is on vaction this week and next week so the NP called me back. I explained the pressure, pain in my cuff ect. She said that I don't have many parts left so I must have a yeast infection and called me in a prescrip. It was a chore getting it filled since I'm out of town. I feeling better but concerned to why I keep getting so many infections. I never had so many yeast infections! I don't understand what could be causing them? Well I'll check back in when I return hope everyone is doing great!

Well, had another urogyn appt today and got another surgery date. July 29th. ::::sigh:::: She also fitted me for a pessary.......ewwwww..........I sooooo do not want this. I told her if she can get me in before July 29th let me know and I'll rearrange anything I have going on. She was being very accomodating to my school schedule. The summer semester ends 7/29 and the fall semester starts on 8/13. She said I might only be in the hospital for 1-2 days. This isn't going to be anything near what I went through with the first surgery in March. She also said she'll fix my little cosmetic issue while she is in there.

Sooooo.......here we go again.

Aww, Denise, that is so bad, you must be feeling a bit like a guniea pig - chopped liver!

Anyway, lots of prayers and hugs your way!

I'm in the middle of another round of antibiotics - this time gentamicin. By IV - every day at the hospital. Yuck. I see the dr tomorrow to see if I can be finished or not. Hope it works cause it's the only antibiotic that I'm not allergic to. However, the roof of my mouth is all raw and sore - a side effect of the antibiotic.

Oh well, any more infections after this and I'm going to scream~!

Kathie,

Have you tried a weak solution of salt and water to rinse your mouth? It's very healing. You might want to ask your doctor about it. Sorry to hear about your trouble.

Denise,

Best wishes to you with your next round. I hope you manage to get in sooner.

Hi everyone,
Everything is fine here, the weather is getting warmer but not unbearable. Got got over a bout with the stomach flu, my god, that was horrible. I thought my whole inside were coming out. I was also afraid what was going to come out my vajayjay. Nothing did, and I made it through. Wouldn't wish that on anybody.
Denise, I wish you the best, it looks like I will be heading that way too, the bladder just keeps coming down no matter how much I do the kegels it just doesn't seem to work, please keep us posted I really want to hear.
Glad everyone is well, prayers and good wishes to all.

Hello!!!

Sorry I haven't written in awhile. I've been a bit stressed! Hubby still hasn't found a job yet. He keeps getting calls from recruiters. He has had one interview from an actual company and should hear something this week. On the other hand I got a call from my old manager and she is likely going to have a FT position opening for me. This would save us on gas money, car wear and tear, and insurance. I should know more this week also. Keep your fingers crossed.

I've just been working and doing housework. It's neverending. I started to work out again. The lay off threw me off a bit, but I'm getting back on the wagon.

I'm feeling much better. I still have hot flashes occasionally, but I think it's due to my cycle. Also I have a pinching feeling around my ovarian region once in awhile. I figure due to ovulation as well. The testosterone is working.

The kids are enjoying their summer break so far. Hopefully hubby will find a job soon and things will get back to "normal". My goal is to get some bills paid off in the next year. This little "bump" in the road certainly hasn't helped.

So what have I missed? I haven't been on here in 3 wks. I had a hard time finding it again.

Michelle.....I hear ya about the job thing. We went through the same thing about 7 years ago and it was rough. Long story short.....hubby ended up getting recalled back into the military so it was a mixed blessing.
I will say a prayer and keep my fingers crossed about yoru job.

As for me..... ::::sigh:::: it's back to the OR with me on July 29th. I had a recurrence of the prolapse so she's going to go in and repair it with mesh. I've been assured it's nothing like the first surgery. I'm not even going to bother with the whole disability thing. Other than that, I'm back at work part-time and I think it's going to stay that way. School is in full swing and that is still my number one priority. The evil DH is still living away from the house. It has led to a chain reaction of peace in the house for the first time in years and years. So....life goes on. :-)
