My bum hurts for you. I was so glad I didn't have to do this. What type of surgery are you having? I just asked about carloading because I'm having to drink a bunch of juice to carb load tonight and tomorrow morning. Mine is the da Vinci.

Hi Christina!

I was told to carb load with Gatorade (nothing that uses red dye). I'm supposed to have two 20 oz bottles the night before my surgery.

I was told to drink 2x 16 ozs of Gatorade or G2, yellow or green only. 16 ozs 10-11 pm the night before surgery, and the other 16 ozs on the way to the hospital in the morning, finishing before check-in.

Guessing you haven't had a colonoscopy before? The prep's not much fun, but you will get through it. You'll be fine.
