Oh, definitely we are often better than docs. I think sometimes being a doctor must be very hard..........so much is probably guess work. Who knows how the body really works, and the body/mind connection, which is totally different for every human being. I mean, my cervix was like no one else's my doc had seen in what, 30 years of looking at a cervix in how many thousands of ladies? And I'm sure each hysterectomy is different, and each reaction to anesthesia and each 'positioning' of bodies for surgery and each and every 'everything.'

A guy from work and I were must emailing each other about retirement and wishing we could (we are both mid 50's I discovered via his email) and he has already lost both parents but not me and we talked about legacies ... anyway, the point being (sorry to ramble) that we are all different, that's for sure.

You take it easy, Jennice! Capt. Crunch has already shown us how hard it is to get back into the schools so soon after surgery. And her surgery date.. good old Friday the 13th, seems VERY recent to me. Five days less recovery time from where I started is five days no matter how one looks at it.

Everyone 'chill' tonite; neighborhood nite out. Take care. Heal, heal, heal.

Mmmmmmm
M&M blasts are supposed to cure everything right?

Okay, weird question here. Does anyone else have this? Feels like the rectum has been pulled up into he body? Gross I know. I was asking my good friend at work ( she had her hyster last year) and she said that yes, she had that. I had severe prolapse and everything got pulled back up so I guess that why it feels that way. Rectal face lift Wonder if I could coin that phrase? That's my main discomfort, the whole sitting down thing. Wonder if they would let me work from a cot? Doubt they would care as long as I was there.
I am the media technician, the one they call to fix everything from TV's to computer accounts. I have discovered that if I don't go in they call me at home. May as well be there getting paid. It would probably help if I was getting any sleep at night May be time to administer a sleep aide this evening....2347 kids. At least 1/3 will pass through my doors in the next week if we can't get passwords done. UGH...I'm feelin' feverish.
I wouldn't go back to work if I didn't really need to. I have been good about watching my boss move furniture and equipment around. No way am I doing it.
Everyone keep mending!

Wow, high stress, Capt. Crunch. Maybe instead of counting sheep, count all those kids without passwords...............I can't help w/the rectal facelift part, but I like your coinage of the phrase. Take it easy. I hope you do get some rest tonight before the chaos of tomorrow. E.

Wow it was a hot one in PA today. Heat index was 103 here. All i did today was some shopping. Needed to buy some chicken wings for my friends house warming party. I'll cook them up friday for her party saturday. Anyways by the time i got done shopping i had a cart full of food. Everyone will be happy there is food in the house now. My rugs really need to be vacuumed. But they will have to wait until tomorrow morning. I did enough for today. Wow it's so great to come online and see everyone talking just about abunch of stuff. The Dr.'s office did fax over to my work for next week the light duty note. It goes until Sept.10th i'm not really sure that will be long enough for light duty. Cuz pretty much my stuff i do is heavy all day long. Really on truck delivery days. All those cases Well ladies i'll be back on later before bed. I'm going to relax on the couch and watch the 7 oclock news. Talk to ya later.

I'm living proof that the M&M blast can cure anything (but ask me in about 2 hours to be sure). My house is an absolute disaster. I refuse to vacuum though, can't believe any of you are doing that.
My biggest stress is that my perky coworker comes in tomorrow. The rest of us have already been there for over a week and are already worn out. She'll come in all perky and be mad that we are stressed. I think I'll need to be in my office all day...I seem to recall LOADS of paperwork and workorders that need to be taken care of

Hiya Girls!

Been MIA a little I know....I am pretty much up to regular routine here so been pretty busy most of the days...been here there and everywhere!!! Days seem to slip on by before I know it... I am happy to report I am feeling back to my normal self so those of you who are not, hang in there, it will come...seems the more I get back into life's everyday chaos, the more normal I feel...Yes, I feel crazy again LOL...today I was driving down the road blarring my music singing along and suddenly thought to myself...I'm back!!! Haven't really thought about it these last few days but all that foggy headedness has left and I finally feel I have a clear head...I've also gained back by energy/hyperness and really feeling strong again!!! I bounce around all day like this little green guy ...

I go to my 4-week post op on Thursday...I'm like to the point where it's gonna get in the way of my days' plans no really I am anxious to hear what he has to say about what he seen...I find it hard to believe I have any stitches up there left cause I don't even feel a twinge or pinches at this point...I can totally use my stomach muscles, no more gas pains, haven't even had an ibprophen for weeks now, no sadness/crying, moodiness, and sleeping like a log...just need him to keep me outta work til 8-week post op...I need to go back and be ready to lift/pull/push etc...I had a list of a zillion questions on it ready for him week's ago but everything on it has already resolved on it's own...I seriously look back at this whole recovery and swear (minus the gas pains) it wasn't worse than one week of TOM cramps that I was used to EVERY stinkin month! Wahoooo! Without the surgery, yesterday would have started another period...and I was painfee and lovin it!!!!!!!!

We have been busy getting ready to turn in my car next week (lease is up) so dh's dad has to do a little body work (I am a disaster on cars) so next week it gets turned in and we will be car shopping I give up on trying to keep a nice car, I try for awhile then seems I turn it into a POS! I get soooo attached to my vehicle though...it's almost like turning another chapter in my life...me and my teens had many many blasts in this vehicle and I felt like that about every vehicle I've ever had...maybe it will bring on my first cry...NOT LOL...

anyway starting to ramble here........I will post Thursday afternoon and let you all know how my 4week postop went...take care all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, forgot to mention...don't know if I read it somewhere here or on our regular weekly thread but didn't someone mention a s*x dream they had...OMG me too...last night and it was soooo good LOL...won't go into detail but it involved an old boyfriend (we were hotinlove, but never went all the way, close many a times TMI) but it was him and I after all these years and I was telling him "no I can't" but we were right there like it was in the late 70's and soooo real...it kept coming back to me today and I had a guilty "cheating" feeling all day, that's how real it was...yummy though LOL!!!!! Kinda makes going to bed tonight interesting

Gemini--you are so much fun to listen to!
Hi friends--I too have been MIA the past two days. I started going into school to set up my classroom with my DH. Thank God for him because I havent been able to do much since most of it has required moving around furniture, shelves, chairs, etc and putting up bulletin boards. Yesterday, the first day we went in we stayed for 2 hours and I was so tired when i got home! My whole body ached. DH says that it may be from not doing anything for so many weeks, my body may feel sore as I start to do more physically. today was better, stayed for 3 hours and got alot done. I feel good, sore all over, but good.
I need to go back and read all of the posts! talk to you soon

wow, i have a lot to read and catch up on! I hope everyone is feeling good tonite. I had a busy afternoon as I went into my classroom to start setting up. Realized once i got there that i couldnt do much. Thank God DH went with me. He had to move around furniture for me since they waxed my floors and didnt put the furniture back as I had left it. spent 3 hours in the classroom. I am tired, but feeling okay. I'll go in tomorrow again for a few hours and then its off to my doctors appt (4 wk post op). You know how i've been posting on and off about my bleeding/spotting? well today (TMI) I sneezed and i felt something.....i went to the bathroom and noticed what looked like a blood clot. When I wiped i noticed something black on the paper along with the blood. Whatttttttttttttt was that??? stitches????? Oh boy, me and my dilemnas. i bled pretty much the entire afternoon today. I cant wait to ask the doctor tomorrow! Can anyone relate?
