Well, sisters, it has been quite a ride. I don't know how I could have managed without your support, good humor and understanding. I hope the rest of your recovery is trouble-free and that life treats you well. This may be my last post, so thanks again and

It's So Hard To Say Goodbye, To This Thread!

Well Ladies,
I hope that this thread has been as wonderful for you as it has been for me. We are all saying our farewells lately. Months before this surgery, I had seen this site when I did a google search and finally took the couple of minutes to join. I didn't think that I needed a support group and my friends/family on the outside were enough. Boy, was I wrong. I am sure that we will all be on the other side with all the good things happening to us now. The past 7.5 weeks for me have had there ups/downs. But the last 2 wks has been far more ups. Continue to heal and I know that we are not 100% yet, but with prayer, blessings and faith we can be. I hope to never have another episode like I did 5 days ago with feeling really down, hopeless and loss of faith. I have battled that hurdle and don't want to see another one of those episodes for a while. Even though society claims that this surgery was elective, we know differently. We must live with the choice we made and keep it moving. Although, some of us (like me) will always wonder if we did it at the right time, with the right dr., or should've tried a more conservative approach, but in the end, we would be here at some point.

I have made, hopefully friends for more than just a season or reason like:
Elephante, Relief, Gemini, Presouz, Painfree, Byfaith, Lin914, Phil446, Bsister, knittin, simply, sprouse, and all the rest of you hystersisters. I will continue to pray for Simply's friend and hope she will join us. I think that it takes months (not years) to feel like we once did before the pain. It is so many things happening to us that is unfamiliar. Like the absence of a cycle and pain monthly or bi-monthly. I really will do EVERYTHING to keep a positive attitude and continue to eat right, exercise, heal and pray for all of us. With GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

I just wanted to say thankyou to all of you ladies. We seem to be quite a bunch wouldn't ya say. My family and friends were there for me. But you all made the big difference in my life and how i approached the surgery and the healing. I've even been eating alot better than i used to. And Ele. i may even take up walking, that would be a hoot for me . Anyways i give you all my love and 's and prayers. Go on the chat side everynow and then cuz i would hate to see us become a thing of the past instead of the future. I love you girls with all my heart and soul. So i will say see you later for now. Love Linda

Jennice, thats ok i new you didn't forget me. There is so many of us to remember. The cook out with the future in-laws was great. There was alot of there family member there. Over 40 of them. Alittle overwhelming but still had alot of fun. A few beers takes the edge off. I was playing Barchi ball most of the day. Me and my future son in law kept winning. ha ha The rest of my family had fun too. Of course the Dh pretty much just sat there and talked to just a few people and drank his beer. He is really not a people person. I am though. So i just said whatever. Plus i had already had met about 5 people from there family beforehand so it wasn't as bad for me. Now i'm home drinking soda and eating chinese food. And today was a gorgeous day.
