Don't know if yours is that, but worth asking.
No, he doesn't think it is BM. He said it could be a mild rectocele. It does seem to be getting better, but I can still feel it. It kindof feels like a pulled muscle. It was much more prominent when I had the infection. Everything was so inflamed Then I pushed myself and I will admit...I am not the person to sit around. I walked, walked and walked some more just like ELE.
It seems everything is getting better with time. i think it is related somehow to the internal and external hemorrhoids I have.

I am in the same boat J. Everything fits fine except that swelly belly. I am doing the same as you just walking. It's pretty difficult to be doing sit ups now though. I have that core ball maybe I should try. But I am doing this prep for my test on Thurs. I must say, the belly does go way down when you clean out

Presouz, wow those pictures. I did look at them in full view. I would have loved to see what was growing inside, but then again it's easier to look at someone elses. The surgery report was enough. EEEEKKKK!

I went to the Dr. yesterday now I have to see a Urologist due to the bladder pain. I went from no issues with bladder, BP and colon to WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?

SWELLLLLLLLLY BELLLLLLLLLLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Away! The only exercise I do is walking. I am going to start doing smal light stretching in a couple of days @ 8 weeks post op. Going to bed and finish watching CRASH!

Presouz, is that picture for real? I would love to have a video of my surgery, I am very interested in all of it. I didnt get path report or blood tests but I think that is a great idea too.

I worked part-time week of 20th and full time last week. Both were killers, took it easy over weekend but I did walk. Last night didnt get home till 8:30 was getting dark plus after finally using bathroom (hate to at work all men but me) I could see I was extremely swollen in abdomen & va-jj area. It feels hard too, even this morning. There is a numb vertical area above my scar.

Crossroads did they shave your bikinni area? My scar is below the hair-line. Won't need to worry if that will ever show, now if I can just get the belly down!!!

Yes, taken by my doctor after surgery! I never knew I had so many cysts, I was told I had fibroids, not one was a fibroid... that big one on the side, man o man I knew it was there for years!! I used to feel it when it was only a walnut size, must have been hanging low you know? NOT ONE doctor or unltra sound/sonna gram saw that sucker!! Leaves me to think all those years I was not getting the best care you know? I no longer have a lot of issues I used to with that maddness inside me. yeah its real!! see how big the cervix ball had gotten? MAN I was suffering.. happy its all over with and out!!

By Faith, sit ups? My DR said no way. I have a core ball too and want to try. I feel chubby on my hips too. My body is not the same. I thought before the surgery (before I knew I had the pumpkin inside) that it was my age. I was working on that ball like crazy with no results to the belly. So I thought I would shrink after surgery, humm, I wonder what is filling the void?

E you mentioned your Mom. I used to think my mom hated be sometimes. What did they know then about depression, PMS etc. They used to tell me that cramps were in my head!! If you had a mental problem it was called a "nervous breakdown." Then they would put you in a hospital, no one ever wanted to admit they needed help & then no one knew how to treat it (hormones).

WE have it better than they did at least..

Personally, I feel that swelly belly is just a nice way of saying that your body has permanently changed. Your utti is gone and it is air and water feeling up the space. All that stuff about if you do too much and on your feet, it will swell is just to psych you out so you start laying down. Then nothing will get done. I have yet to see anyone that has had this surgery with a flat belly. I should've just done the myomectomy and took my chances on it coming back. I am tired all the time and my belly is permanently swelly. Not that it was flat.

Smile - Hysterectomy dates Jul 09-Jul 16,2007 Yeah no zipper for me thats why I am so happy I guess

jennice41, I guess I am lucky, I have a LOT OF CLOTHES but only have a few outfits that I wear on a regular basis. I got them from Avenue.com on line, they have great stuff and the are well made so easy to return if something isnt right, but very rarely have to... I LOVE them!! I always keep a little stretch in the fabrics I buy from anyone, I hate the all cotton pull out/puffiness that happens on all cotton tees or all cotton skirts by days end you know? I have a few skirts that goes below my knees, black and white, to wear with black or white top or light jacket, chocolate knee length skirt with beige or gold top or light crochet jackets.. and navy skirt that goes to my middle calf too to wear with white or beige, they are so nice and NO ZIPPERS!!! Yeah no zipper for me thats why I am so happy I guess! My tummy is actually smaller after my monster uttie is gone,BUT still bigger than the average bear!!! I have a nice black button up the front dress blended fabric dress from them too, I LOVE IT TO BITS!!! I need another one now, wore that one to death!! their stuff runs a little big HUGE EGO BOOST LOL... they have sales and coupons too, do a Google search for a code for 20% off avenue or sign up for their email with them they will send a coupon to you via email. OR email or private message me and I will send you a code for the 20% off...I always get emails from them and the codes go unused.. THESE clothes are nice enough for work and you will look nice for everyday at home too SOOO COMFY TOO and mostly all machine washable I hang dry them or fluff them to keep colors nice, I really have never put my clothes in the dryer.. didnt want them to shrink lol.. so force of habit...... Good luck have a peek at the site, they do have great body under shapers too, I do get one size larger on the shapers so they are easier to pull on, my favorite one goes to the thigh and up to under your breast... this is PERFECT for under your skirts, no thigh rubs!!!! and no bra roll!!!! And it holds you in all the way up to your bra, AMAZING STUFF!! Good luck ladies... SINCE I work from home I only have to dress to go grocery store or school driving to and from DD school.. I have not gone to the movies or out to dinner a few months before my surgery I WAS SOOOOO miserable to be seen in public my tummy had gotten to big and It was impossible to hold it in for the past few years it had gotten WORSE so you see why I am in a good mood?? I am still healing and do get swelly belly at night, I am still taking Tylenol or Motrin everyday, maybe that helps? It sure helps my aching bones... my arthritis has been stifled...I guess due to the those daily Tylenol or Motrin or my uttie's departure, not sure but its nice to be able to get out of bed and not hang on to the walls and moan and groan when I get on my knees to give my kitty her twice daily diabetic injections. OK sisters!!! thanks for reading my rambling!!

Wow P thanks for the info. I'll check it out. Even though until I get back to work and start to get a pay check again I can't really buy anything. It really sucks, when I am so used to purchasing anything I needed.

I feel like you J. I always felt so good about how I looked for my mid fortys. Now it's like I feel aged I should not say that but forgive me please
