Ovaries: Kept 1 or both
weird question about keeping ovaries

i am scheduled for a LAVH in January. My doctor intends to leave my ovaries.

She said I would still ovulate each month (and possibly have PMS symptoms as well).

But where does the egg go if there is no uterus or cervix?

sorry if this sounds dumb.

I think my doctor said the eggs just dissolve. ?? Does that sound right?

That's really not a weird question at all. As the eggs are released, the body just absorbs them.
