change of date for surgery:(

So frustrated right now!! Dr's office called to change my date due to vacations of the Drs who will assist and then my ob/gyn's own vacation. What is it with living in NNY that you can never get things done. My plans have been made with work, husband(and his work for time off). It's like we don't matter. I know they deserve vacas too but ERRR! Thanks for letting me vent!! Now I may have to wait until July and keep dealing with the problems of an enlarged uterus(3x it"s size) and baseball sized fibroid!

Oh no! I am so sorry your date was changed. You get everything arranged and then.....

You would think that they would have had the vacation schedule already set when they set your appointment. Or have someone else that can fill in. I am sure you want to and , or just plain

Vent away.... you deserve to.

Good news, my surgery is back on schedule for may 7th. Yeah, be glad to have this nasty thing out of me and start to feel good again. My heart Dr gave me the OK today and I'm sure my FNP will clear me too. Finally, thanks for all the hugs and good wishes from all, this site is definitely helpful and wouldn't know where to go from here.

I'm so happy for you that you got your original surgery date back. This is one of my big fears - as I am spending time and effort to get schedules arranged and things ready. Let's hope we all have our surgeries happen on time!

Thanks for all the support and I'm nervous but ready to have this done. Tired of being uncomfortable and all the trips to the bathroom. Can't wait to feel like a new woman. Best of luck to all waiting for their surgeries too!
