I am 31 and have been told I need a hyst.
He say's keeping the ovrys is up to me but I have a strong family history of cancer. He wanted to do it in 03 but I have put it off.
I have pcos, bleeding,pain and more pain. I think he said my utrus was like a 16 week pg and it was lumpy (globular) mushy.
It hasn't shunk back since my last pg in 2000.
I have had 4 c-sections. I am so over the pain/bleeding.
I also am looking in to having a tummy tuck done at the same time. Has any had a tummy tuck at the same time? And what was the outcome pain? length of stay? Are you happy you did it?
I just want to be able to live life and not have to worry about ohh I am going to be bleeding then so we can't go do that or have to come home from something cause I am in pain. And the pain puts me in such a bad mood it's hard on everyone.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having pain and probably facing surgery. I know you will find a lot of helpful information here.

Since I had a TVH, I have no personal experience to share with you regarding a tummy tuck. Some ladies to have them done at the same time as their hysterectomy and I'm sure someone will be along to share their story with you.
