Cancelled surgery for Thurs.

Hi all,

I cancelled my surgery (TAH/BSO) with my gyn because CA125 had increased and it was strongly (in love) suggested by hystersisters in cancer concerns forum to have gyn/onc do the surgery just in case. So will be seeing gyn/onc on Fri. and I was told surgery would probably be scheduled within 2 weeks.

Good for you! I had the same issues and now I am eternally grateful that I had a gyn/onc -even though I had to wait a bit longer. They managed to get rid of all the 'bad' stuff in the surgery and I don't need any further treatment. I pray you will have great outcome also.

While I am sorry you're facing surgery at this time, I am also very glad you have made this choice to have a gyn/oncologist do your surgery.
