Home today, it went GREAT, some tips.

I'm so happy to be home!!

First, the things that helped me the most...

1. My MP3 player! I had various music programmed. I had read a couple of articles that said that listening to music reduces your need for pain meds. Well, it did work for me and it made me happy and peaceful.

2. Gently moving from side to side in bed on the 1st day. My nurses told me to do this until I could be cleared to walk. At first I could just move my feet and knees. Then I could roll a little to each side, and tried to prop a pillow on my back. I also moved the bed a lot so I would'nt get stagnated in one place. When I was cleared for walking I was able to stand straight after a few steps! I think all the gentle movements helped.

3. Face wipes made me feel refreshed.

Okay, that's enough for now. I better go rest!!!
