Hormonal Bread/Cake Replacement

I heard of a bread/cake type recipe that is loaded with seeds and such that you can eat one slice per day which would replace any hormone pills. Does any one have this recipe ?

hrt cake

Hi there! Here's a link :http://www.menocease.com/cakereceipe.asp

and http://www.bbc.co.uk/herefordandworc...e_recipe.shtml

I used to make this cake all the time and have a slice for breakfast every morning. I can't be bothered with it at the moment but I'll start again soon!
It is more like a fruit loaf and I kept it in the freezer as it has no sugar or preservatives in.
It's a very flexible recipe , you can mix n match to suit your budget or fancy. You can't really spoil it. It needs a good 70 mins in a slow oven. I can't get soya milk here so I used low fat regular milk. I didn't bother soaking the fruit in the end. I use a greased pyrex loaf pan.
You may find more variations by searching HRT cake or beat the menopause cake on google or wherever.
It's very soothing and therapeutic to make!
Good luck!
