I am home :)

Hi all my sister's I am home the surgery went well and I am still sore but it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be... I had to be there at 6 am on June 5th ... I was back in surgery by 7:30 am .. It went well Dr had to remove uterus it had severe scar tissue and damage to it . I also had some of my tube removed and they left both ovaries and my cervix the doc said they looked good.. Everything was bunched up like a nest in my body somehow and he had to correct all of that plus my uterus was attached somehow to my colon . he had to do some correcting on my colon.. I am swollen bad of course and gas is my friend I can say for now .I am drinking alot of liquids and I can only some walking he don't want me doing much at all just go to the bathroom, shower and sit and relax and walk a little nothing else .My first day out of sugery was the roughest . I had to wear those stockings that has air flow through them . I hate those things. I had meds come when I had pain. And the nurses was nice to me . I am so glad to be home !! I hope all my June 5th sisters are all doing well .. I will write again soon..

Hi Audrey

Welcome Home. I am so glad you are doing well.

That is great that you were able to keep your ovaries. Yes, sometimes they do find extra things that need to be corrected while they are in there. Keep following the doctor's orders and getting lot's of . I hope you will be feeling better day by day now.

Your new crown looks pretty good too !

welcome home

Hi, Princess Audrey,

How good it is to hear that you are now home and wearing your crown! Doesn't it feel great to know that you are now on the road to recovery and that "wait time" is now over? Yippee for you! It sounds as though you did okay.

Take it one day at a time and allow yourself to heal.

Hope to see u in chat someday when u are up to it.

Warm welcome home,
Lynn (capt in chat)
