Eat Or Not To Eat?? Help Plz!

I have two forms that tell me different on when to stop eating.... Ones before 12am of the day of my hysterectomy and the other one day before the Hysterectomy>.< doe's anyone know what one i go with?

If your surgery is on the 10th it is too late to do the latter!

so it is 24 hours before hand eh >.< lol was kinda hoping that the midnight one tonight was right lol but knew the truth lol thank you=) the worst part is knowing I will not eat good food for a few days lol

I have no idea what they meant by giving you different instructions - just that if it were 24 hours you probably have already eaten.

It's been a long day. Am I confused? LOL.

lol I have no idea ether it got me mixed up myself. TH eform that had the stuff I had to drink said that from 9 am I think it was I had to eat nothing and be on a water, black tea and coffee and pop that type of stuff untill my Hysterectomy the next day at 9:30am. They I have another sheet that say I'am aloud to eat untill 12am tonight for my hysterectomy tomorrow lol I have no idea what they want me to do xD :confuse:

I had a LSH on 2/23/09. I was told not to eat anything after midnight on 2/22. I did not have to do a bowel prep. I did eat very light on 2/22. The doctor did not tell me to do this, I just thought it would be easier on my stomach. I actually quit eating around 6PM.

I think it depends upon the type of surgery. I was instructed not to eat or drink anything after midnight. My surgery was 7:30am the next morning. I had no bowel prep in my instructions.

I imagine drinking the stuff at 9:00am and sticking to coffee, tea and water sounds like the correct/overriding answer?
