Hormone test return "normal"

I just received a call from my Dr's office that my hormone levels are "normal". I was diagnosed with Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding and in reading all that I can I was really expecting something to be off as DUB could very well be from funky hormone levels.

I was on YAZ, ortho tri-cyclen and Ortho Evra the patch over the past few years with all awful side effects. Last year I had a D&C and polyps removed and am now back up to two week long periods every two weeks.

I did not have this but I'm sorry you are having such a frustrating time. Is this a 2nd opinion, or could you get one? Is sounds quite debilitating. I'm hoping someone can give you answers soon, sending hugs.

My levels are "normal" too. I have been bleeding consistently since January!! I found a new doc and asked for an MRI to be done. I'll be having my surgery on Aug 17th. Good luck!

That's so frustrating! I would seek out a second opinion as well.
