Anxious about upcoming surgery

I had my pre-op appt today and it went well. My Dr is awesome and answered all of my questions. I feel fine about the surgery but I'm so anxious, I get a lump in my throat and just wana cry. I'm very nervous. Does anyone hv advise?

I too am having surgery on the 24th at 1pm. Dont know if I have any advice as this is my first rodeo too but if it makes you feel any better I understand how you feel. Last night one of my relatives was actually getting hostile with me (yes hostile) because she thought I shouldn't feel apprehensive about getting this surgery. She is a drunk and I put her in check, but it did make me feel unsupported. I'm not freaking out but am a little worried as my Dr has spent a total of 5 minutes with me. I never even got to ask ANY questions. Pre-op is today and my Dr wont be there for me to ask anything. He is a OB/GYN and Plastic surgeon.
I suspect he has a steady hand. haha. Just be glad you have a great Dr who has at least taken the time to answer your concerns. Best of luck I'm sure you'll be fine.

I pray that God will be with you both through the surgery and recovery. Trust in HIM and HE will help you through this adventure. I could NOT have made it without God. **HUGS** to you and may your recoveries be uneventful!!

Rm2 I pray that ur surgery will go well and I hope today your questions will be answered by ur doctor.
I am nervous but I do have to say that this web site has helped alot knowing that there are others that have been thru the same thing and are so supportive.
BTW I live in Fl too. In Orlando
