I had my a few days ago. My oldest son has been helping me today. He watched the old Posiedon Adventure with me. After your surgery your kids will be more gentle. I sent mine a message as soon as I was out of surgery (by way of my husband) and told them it was snuggle time now. How often do the kids get us all to them to snuggle, read books and watch movies? You won't be able to rush around and will just have to be with them.

Children stressin you out? ( children mentioned)
I am in your boat a little. My surgery is set for 10 days but it might be changed to 3 instead because I am bleeding very heavily and cramping, etc. You know how it is. Anyways, this morning or I should say yesterday morning, I got up and worked my butt off all day while my husband sat all morning looking at cars to buy. URGG. But it got better when he took the youngest on a Daddy daughter lunch and then he came home and took the older boys snow boarding and they were gone for the rest of the day and evening so I was able to truly get things cleaned, scrubbed, painted, put away. It is funny that you mentioned your room. I figured that if I am going to spend a lot of time in there, I really wanted a different look so cleaning it thoroughly and moving some furniture around has really helped me feel a little bit better. My 7 year old come to think of it was acting like your son this afternoon. And then she started to have things that normally don't bug her really set her off. I just realized that she is feeling the stress and urgency that mom is going to be a little tied up soon. I ended up getting her to clean up with me and then she was too tired after that and wanted me to read her a book so she could go to sleep. Hang in there. If you have a dollar store around, go buy them small inexpensive gifts or toys for times when you just need to be left alone or leave quarters around for their quiet behavior. Those are just some of the tricks I plan to use for my kids.

Children stressin you out? ( children mentioned)
I went out after church today with some friends. ( hubby to come home tonight ) Thought I would enjoy lunch out before the big day this week. The KIDS were terrible. They were so bad, one of my friends said what has gotten into them to behave so badly? How embarrassed I was. Let's just say, when the DH gets back, I am going to have a calgon moment

Children stressin you out? ( children mentioned)
My husband came home and had a talk w/ our children...LOL I feel so much better now. I also handed over the responsibility of there rooms HAHA
I have cleaned everything from top to bottom. I even sorted and got rid of tons of clothes. Lets just say when I was done "nesting" there were 4 lrg yellow trash bags to go out for trash day today. I haven't cleaned like this since i was pregnant with my son
