home from the castle

and the castle was the worst part for me. I was left for hours w/o ggetting any attention and was treated horrable. atleast as far as I am concerned. I was up all night the night after surgury, I had a morphine pump and i was out so it beeped (loadly) continuosly. I paged the nurses for atleast 45 minutes before i could get some one to turn it off then another hour before I could get someone to give my more pain meds.. it was horrable, it goes on I am just glad to be home and after I through my last fit i ws finally getting some much need relief. but on a positive side now that I am home I am so much more comfortable then I thought I would be, my dr gave me percaset (sp) and an antibiotic told me to take aleve with the pain meds and Although I have only been home for a few hours I am not in very much pain. I would say just slightly uncomfortable which is proabaly gas and I am way tired so forgive my spelling, but at any rate it was not nearly as painful as I was afraid it would be and lord does it give me a new appreciation for my great DF and DD as well as all my friends how have been taking great care of me....not to mention bring great food which I've no appatite to eat yet but sure love it tomorrrow and thatns to allyou ladies who have help me to prepare for this. i will post more later, but for now it's back to bed

Gee -- sorry they treated you badly at the castle. Luckily your stay wasn't too long.

Rest, rest, rest. Short walks. Drink water. It should be a familiar litany by now!

Hope your recovery goes smoothly.
