Is dizziness normal?

I have stage 3 uterine prolapse and a doctor's appointment on Thursday (4/17). For the past week I've been getting really strong dizzy spells and have never had this before. I checked my blood pressure on two different days when mildly dizzy and it's pretty low. Is this related or something else?! I'm not sure if the low blood pressure is related to the dizziness or not, but it was something I was curious to check. I'm eating fine and not losing blood so I doubt it iron - never had any issue with iron before either. I work out regularly and am in otherwise great health. Anybody else have dizziness with prolapse??? Thanks!

Re: Is dizziness normal?

I'm sorry I really don't have an answer for this but perhaps someone will notice it now that's it's moved up in the thread.

I'm glad you're seeing the doctor this week anyway so that you can describe your symptoms and hopefully get some relief from the dizziness.
Good luck and feel better.

Re: Is dizziness normal?

Hi ssssdeb-

I would call your doctor and ask, but that would worry me too.

Also, you may want to have someone else drive you to your doctor appointment. If you are dizzy, you probably should not drive.

Re: Is dizziness normal?

Just wondering and hoping you're feelings less dizzy. Hope the doctor has some answers and you're doing better.

Re: Is dizziness normal?

After more Googling, I found out that dizziness and the related headache are common early signs of menopause. So perhaps I'm starting menopause and the prolapse is getting worse due to lower estrogen levels or something like that. I had to postpone my doctor appointment because I've come down with the flu this week and have been sick in bed . I can't let the dizziness control my life and have people drive me places - it's way too constant for that yet not severe enough to keep me home. I have to live life. The same with working out - there's no way I'll stop working out because I've self-diagnosed prolapse (even though it's stage 3 in my opinion). I have to keep doing what I love and if I need surgery I have to be as strong as possible going in to it. Stubborn, I know
