Back from Hosp. Reg. and even more confused, need help

Hey Ladies. Today was my registration at the hospital. But before I was to go there I had to pick up my orders at my DR's office and my prescriptions. Well when I got to my DR's it was so chaotic. Both Dr's were out in Labor and Delivery, so there was no one to answer my questions! The receptionist gave me my orders to take the hospital, my bowels prep instructions, and 4 prescriptions, with no explanation what so ever! I asked her when do I take these what are they for, and she said the pharmacist will explain it to you or you can just call back later. AArgh! Well then I went to the hospital, got registered, but the anesthisiologist was out sick and someone else was filling in, so I did not get to talk to him, now my anesthisia is up in the air. He was suppose to tell me if we were going to do spinal and heavy sedation or general and epidural, now I have to wait till FRIDAY! I also have to come back to the hospital on wednesday for blood test, because DR said my blood count was low, I have to have 6 different blood test?!?!?!? what the heck for? I know one is a blood test, the other a pregnancy test. I also have 4 preseciptions! I have to start taking 2 on wednesday and the rest on thusday. I have two for anit naseau, they are Compazine and Zofran. If they are for anit naseau why would I have to start them on two days before surgery? Then I have two more antibiotics, Erythromycinbs and Neomycin. Why do I have to do all of this? Am I sicker then they told me? One of my meds say it is anti nasaue medicine give before chemo and/or radiation?!?!?!? Then my diagnosis had a BUNCH of codes on them! As far as I know I only have endometriosis!
The codes were, CPP, Menomet, Dysmenorrhea. What is that? Any advice would be helpful. I dont want to work myself up into a panic attack so I am trying not to google these meds or diagnosis. Thanks girls!

If you are concerned with your pills, you should call the Dr's office and talk to the Dr. and ask him what they are for and when you should take them, the Dr. will be the only one that will be able to answer your questions.

I do not know what CPP means, but menomet is short for menometorrhagia. which means heavy bleeding. Dysmenorrhea, means painful periods.

i think that cpp means chronic pelvic pain, but don't quote me on that one...everything will work itself out, but that does suck that they put you through all of that. i'd call FIRST thing in the morning and demand to speak with a doctor, for sure.

As the other (((sisters))) said, best to call the office in the morning and speak to someone who can help you sort everything out, including the diagnosis codes. It is always frustrating when things get hectic.

I hope you are getting some good tonight.
