1 week to hysterectomy and my husband tells me he is leaving me....do I cancel surgery?

I am hoping that your mom pleasantly surprises you. My mom and I have had our UPS and downs but when something is needed in a situation like this, she is always there. Just try to have faith in her. Do you have neighbors, coworkers, or other acquaintances that can help? I know it is really hard to ask for help, but I think in this situation you need to.

Do not allow him to continue to manipulate you. It may be hard letting him go, but it is truly the best for you AND your children to do so if he is emotionally abusive. Even if he is great with your kids, seeing him treat you like that is going to be detrimental to their mental health and it will also teach them to treat others likewise. If you can't bring yourself to let him go for yourself now, do it for your kids.

If your surgery is urgent and you are in a lot of pain, you should not cancel it, in my opinion. Although I am having difficulties despite having had a LAVH, I would still have one if I knew then what I know now.

Recovery can be greatly affected by emotional state and stress, so removing some of the stress would be good for you.
