My grandma told me that the hairs disappear too... It was an interesting tidbit at the time, but didn't think I wanted to know that from Grams.....

I was doing pretty good today, Until I sneezed. I have this persistant seering pulling pain on my right side whenever I cough or sneeze. I just want to die when that happens then I have the pain there for several days. Just when It finally goes away something happens again and then I have the pain... oh well

They disappear? I didn't know that. Not only are you ladies funny, but you have a world of information too!

I'm doing really well this week. I can't believe I'm in week 5 already. It won't be long now before we all start getting back to our normal lives.

My doctor acted quickly on the breast lumps I found even though he said it was probably nothing serious. He wanted me to schedule with a breast specialist immediately and my appointment is the same day as my 6 week checkup. Then this morning I woke up and I think the lumps are going away. My breast are not as sore and even though I can still feel something, the lumps are way down in size. Almost gone. I still think they are/were cysts, but can cysts form and go away that fast? I feel kinda like a hypochondriac calling my doctor and now thinking I should just cancel the breast specialist appointment. But in the long run, I'd rather feel a little crazy than not call when I should. You can bet I'll not be missing any more breast self exams after this scare.

I could grow a goatee faster then any prepubescent teenage boy around. They say it's hormones......

Angie - sorry about the sore boobs.....haven't experienced that yet, though when I was premenstrual, these puppies really hurt, too!

Horizon - you go girl with the shopping spree! I desperately need clothes and refuse to buy anything larger then a size 8.....though last year I did have to break down and get a size 10......gets me so annoyed! And as for shirts.....I have to find "tah tah" friendly shirts or the girls look too large. Most today aren't tah tah friendly.

Becky, how's the poopie hon? Still a tad pale? Did you call your doctor today?

Anyone hear from Oprah????

Paula...I hear ya sister Josh makes fun that he's finally beating me in the chin hair challenge...not something a mom needs to here

I beleive that is hormone and genetically related...my grandma used to shave her beard I had laser hair removal treatments....it worked well, but I am now seeing new ones arriving...I really dont want to do the laser thing again...expensive, and hurts after a while...so I shave, I was told not to pluck, not sure why?

My boobs are calming down a bit today with the soreness...thankgoodness!

Distracted....my hair down there has thinned out a lot in the last couple yrs...thought I was seeing things, but guess its true...guess I won't be needing to shave it at all soon

Hi everyone else

The reverse mohawk!!!! I never realized but that is exactly what they did to me as well. I had a vertical incision, 25 staples and thought maybe the adhesive tape had been the culprit, but yeah.......a reverse mohawk. That's one for the punksters.

Janine

It's been too rainy here and the only time I sip a mint julep is at the derby and even then I must have had a few other drinks in order to be able to have one of those!

I suppose that just shows I am not really from KY, I am a transplant......from AZ

Hey Girls,

Lenaise is right, this is part of our recovery & anyone who says otherwise, well...

Nobody can possibly understand unless they've also gone through this. It's good that we can laugh with each other through our recovery, it lifts the spirit & is good medicine for the soul!

Who else are we going to talk to about the good, the bad, & the ugly??

I'll have to come back later, gotta type my 10yr.old DD's book report. I told her I'd do it 'cause she types slow & I want her to feel that I'm still here for her w/ everything that's been going on. She's been absolutely wonderful through all this w/ the little one & the "H", very helpful, hasn't even pulled out the attitude as often as norlmal.

Have a wonderful afternoon Ladies.
Your Hyster Sister,
KimberJ

Ok sisters, need your shoulders (and a few hundred tissues).

Received a call today from my employer. Seems while I've been gone they've decided to do some reorganization. I was told that it has nothing to do with my performance (I had two stellar reviews) and that I will have a job when I come back on 4/30 (or whenever I decide to do so) but that I will also be offered a severance package of 5 weeks. The information is being mailed to me today.

Needless to say I'm in total shock. I started there in 8/06 and was assured when I left on disability that my job would not be in jeopardy. So, here I am trying to heal and I get a kick in the gut.

This is the second time this has happened to me in less then a year. I was recruited by another place and they never taught me properly so when I was asked if I liked my job I was honest and told them, "Not under the current circumstances". Two days later I got my walking papers with the reason that "Since you don't like your job, we feel it's best to sever our relationship with you".

I'm just so upset right now.....
