Off to the castle in less than 12 hours!

I can hardly believe it's time. I've been waiting over 3 months.

The laundry's caught up, there's lots of food in the house, arrangements made, assignments given. I think I'm finally ready, despite having to do my last preparations around an ice storm knocking out 2 days of power, Sun and today. (We stayed - and did laundry - at my in-laws's, God bless them!)

I'm scheduled for 11am. Have to be at the hospital by 9. We'll drop our little guy at kindergarten on the way. Our 20 yr old will pick him up. She's playing "Mommy" for the next couple days, til our 22 yr olf finishes finals, and she starts her rotation.

I've gotten a lot of last minute calls and visits. It's nice to know people are thinking of you.

You know what's funny? I was a little anxious a week ago, and even 2 days ago, but I'm really not now. I hope that means I can get some decent sleep.

I guess that's about it. Best wishes to all my other 'sisters going to the castle this week! I'll see y'all on the other side!

I'm having a TAH (keeping ovaries) with a full tummy tuck. It's not the TAH that worries me so much as having that big tt incision, and both to recover from at the same time...

I need a tummy tuck so bad, my gyn doesn;t do them. Did you have to have a plastic surgeon and your gyn in there at the same time?
