warning- question about rather "frisky" subject

Having been in here for a year now, I can tell you that most of the ladies doctors, include my own, will tell you No Penetration. As for foreplay, that is fine. The penetration is a no-no for risk of infection and tearing internal stitches.

Mad Morgan --

Beast with two backs -- you Shakespearean scholar, you! I have tickets to the opera, for next July, to be performed at an amphitheatre facing the Mediterranean.

Well, back to the subject at hand, he-he!

Yes, I'd say definitely indulge before, because it's a long, long time from May to December (as the song goes). I'm 4-1/2 weeks post op, and am frankly waiting a bit longer on all fronts, just to be sure.

Hopefully not offending, but I had a rather pleasant dream a few nights post-op, when still in the hospital, and I was scared silly that the contractions tore my stitches, but was too chicken to tell the doctor!

Kitty (and others)
I had the b*lls to ask my Dr. what I could and couldn't do. And as Cyd said, you can do anything except penetration.
We have sex pretty frequently here (5 out of 7 days), married 4 years BTW. But last Weds. hubby had to have hernia operation so now we haven't. It's really making me nuts because I know that I will not be able to have "sex, sex" for at least 6 wks.
His surgery was a little more involved than we thought (double hernia, and huge) so Dr. said no sex for one week. Well, that would take us to my surgery date. So on a technicality we are planning on having one heck of a "session" after midnight Tuesday night. Besides, how much sleep am I gonna need I'll be sleeping most of Weds. anyway, lol.

What Is It

I probably will come off as being a bit naive, but can someone tell me the meaning of "The Beast With Two Backs". It sounds like a horror movie. I know it is some type of sexual position, but cannot quite figure out what.

"beast with two backs"

This phrase refers to two people involved in the act. Probably missionary position....!

warning- question about rather "frisky" subject

Ok ladies, now that you have brought the subject up...
I will be having a TVH in a couple of months and am worried about that and my "other" problem and it is driving me nuts. I am a young (or at least I feel young) 50 year old who is married to someone several years older. We were quite a bit younger when we met and I never noticed the difference in our ages. Now he has had 2 heart bypass surgeries, 3 stints, and numerous other cardio surgeries in the last 7 years. During the last year, he has been on so much medication that sex is a long ago memory. Not that he doesn't still have the desire, he just can't!

My problem is that since the doctor put me on these hormones, my sex drive is going through the roof! Any one else out there have a problem like this? Probably not, but I feel better just letting it all out.

Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! You all just made my day Rofl! It's something I have thought alot about.. even knowing that my surgery wont take place til January.. but I'm 23 my husband is 27.. and yes we have a high sex drive.. my husband worse than I these days since sex has become so painful. I know Masterbation isn't something you talk about to just anyone, but I know that with me .. this is embarrassing to say.. is the only way I seem to enjoy sex. The actual act of it is so painful at times that I just loose the mood all together which leaves my husband at times in a state he'd rather not find himself!
I guess another good question for you all is.. Do you have to wait the same ammount of time if you are having a TVH instead of a TAH? Or is it more? All I know is that I am dreading those 6-8 weeks. My husband is gonna be hurting! lol But I know too that when the day finally comes we are just going to lock ourselfs in the room and send the little ones off to grandma's house for the weekend!
